The long-awaited 3D Blu-ray release of Avatar will arrive before 2011—but you’ll need a Panasonic Viera 3D TV if you want to own it this year.

Panasonic has confirmed the extremely odd rumoured arrangement to Cnet, forging a deal that’ll see the 3D Blu-ray disc exclusively bundled with a select few Panasonic 3D TV models and « related equipment » this December.
